ImmersiveIran > Our Team
The story of ImmersiveIran began with our CEO’s captivation with culture and philosophy as a young girl. Then, from the 1990s, Mina’s curiosity led her on backpacking trips across Iran, where she journeyed to remote areas, meeting people from different ethnicities, and immersing herself in the rich tapestry of cultures. In those moments, she discovered something: a treasure that has shaped her life’s mission. What she found was the beauty of Iran’s landscapes, the diversity of its culture, and its profound depth. A culture passed down through generations and woven into the fabric of history. This realization has become her guiding light, inspiring her to share the true essence of Iranian culture with the world. On her path, Mina met like-minded people who shared her dreams and values. Together, they formed a team that has come to realize that the confusion and longing many feel in today’s modern world stem from a deeper need: the search for inner peace and harmony with the world around us. A team that believes one of the most beautiful ways to embark on this path is through travel. Traveling to Iran can be a step toward finding peace and breaking free from the stereotypes that often cloud our perceptions. This vision drives our commitment to:
Mina Saleki
Founder
Rooted in a lifelong curiosity for culture and meaning, Mina has wandered — often backpacking solo — throughout Iran’s remote regions. Over the years she discovered a rich tapestry of landscapes, ethnicities, traditions, and age-old stories. A living Iran full of depth, wisdom and diversity. Motivated by this discovery, she founded ImmersiveIran.
Today she leads a team committed to creating authentic, respectful, sustainable and personalized journeys — so that each traveler can experience Iran not as a postcard, but as a living, breathing story
Neda Asghari
Head of Travel Consultation
One of the newest and most energetic members of our team, Neda joined the team with a strong background in tourism. She works directly with travelers, listening, guiding, and crafting immersive trip plans with genuine care.
Friendly, sharp-eyed, and endlessly curious, she turns every question into a meaningful route and handles last-minute twists with calm confidence.
And honestly… sometimes even we can’t figure out where all her energy comes from!! But we’re pretty sure she could power half the office if needed.
Saeed Saeedimanesh
Web Developer & SEO Specialist
Saeed is the invisible engine that keeps everything running, quietly, reliably, and with a level of calm that feels almost supernatural. When things crash, he fixes them; when they don’t, he somehow makes them even faster.
He also loves traveling—loves it—but here, we secretly pray he doesn’t go too far or too long, because history has shown that when Saeed is on a trip, our website suddenly remembers all the reasons it could go down.
Marzieh Farshid Doust
Operations Manager
Marzieh is the calm force behind every plan, making sure everything runs smoothly, from your flights to the ring you left in your hotel room.
With an academic background in tourism, experience as a certified tour guide, and deep roots in Iran’s travel community, she brings both professional insight and real on-the-ground understanding to our operations.
Fueled by her caring spirit (and a lot of coffee), she keeps the whole team supported, steady, and always moving forward.
Fatemeh Boroumandi
Digital Marketing Manager
Fatemeh keeps our digital world perfectly organized, one Google Sheet at a time.
She plans, tracks, color-codes, and somehow makes chaos look efficient.
With a strong sense of structure and a natural talent for coordination, Fatemeh helps keep our projects on track and on time. She brings order to busy days, clarity to complex tasks, and a reassuring rhythm to the team’s workflow.
If ImmersiveIran ever runs out of caffeine, her spreadsheets could probably power the team.
Zahra Soltani
Head of Partnerships
As one of ImmersiveIran’s first team members, Zahra knows the organization inside out.
She builds smooth, trusting relationships with partners and leads B2B conversations with warmth, clarity, and steady professionalism.
Kind-hearted and calm, she keeps things moving, multitasking through every challenge with quiet confidence.
And if you ever catch her giving travel advice on the side, that’s just Zahra being Zahra: thoughtful, wise, and always ready to help before you even ask.
Reza Tashakor
Branding, UI & UX Designer
Reza sees the world in color palettes and clean lines, and somehow, everything becomes a design project. He can spend hours hunting for the “perfect” photo, only to decide it still needs a better crop.
His sensitivity to tiny details has become an inside joke within our team; we often place bets on whether anyone besides him will spot a particular pixel, shadow, or misaligned curve. Spoiler: he always does.
If ImmersiveIran looks and feels the way it does, much of it comes from Reza’s eye, an eye that notices the beauty hiding where most people never think to look.
Mahmoud Ghasemi
Finance Director
Mahmood is the one who brings order to the dreamers, balancing books, budgets, and bold ideas with calm precision.
A passionate reader with a deep love for Iran’s history and culture, he often adds stories that give our journeys extra depth.
And for a finance guy, he’s surprisingly the warmest one in the room, the person who remembers every birthday and somehow keeps both the numbers and the team perfectly balanced.

“My journey began as an English student in the vibrant city of Shiraz. It was while chatting with tourists at the historic Hafezieh that I found my passion for connecting with people from different cultures. As a tour guide, I see each journey as a chance to explore the world, build friendships, and create unforgettable memories. I cherish the time spent with travelers, making every moment count as we share in unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”

“From my childhood, I was captivated by the stories and historical tales of my homeland. That passion inspired me to dive into the pages of history, eager to learn everything I could about our past. It wasn’t long before this love led me into the world of archaeology, and then tourism, where I found my calling—sharing the beauty of Iran’s story with international travelers. I also founded a community of history and culture lovers where we hold info-tours and weekly lectures. For me, tourism is a bridge to seeing the world through a deeper lens and appreciating its countless wonders. Every traveler I meet and every culture I encounter brings valuable lessons, enriching my perspective and broadening my horizons.”

“My background is in arts and architecture, with a university degree in sociology. I’m deeply drawn to history, archaeology, and philosophy, and I absolutely love nature and outdoor adventures. With travel experience to over twenty countries and across Iran, I do my best to offer more than just a tour. I enjoy making our guests feel at home, ensuring comfort and safety, and creating a friendly and flexible atmosphere.”

“My journey to becoming a full-time tour guide wasn’t exactly traditional. For seven years, I worked in Iran’s largest electronics industry, putting my university degree to good use. But even then, my real passion was always calling: guiding people, sharing stories, and showing off the beauty of Iran and beyond. So, I finally decided to take the leap and follow my heart. Fast forward 10 years, and I’ve now led over 1,000 tours, both here in Iran and in amazing destinations like Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, and Turkey. My specialty? Cultural and historical tours—the kind that connect you to a place and its people.”

“My life is mixed with sports and I am professionally active in mountaineering, caving, rock climbing, horse riding, diving, alpine skiing, paragliding, and paratrike flying. I have traveled to many peaks, valleys, waterfalls, deserts, and other places of interest in Iran, and I would like to introduce these beauties to others with respect for the nature I travel to. I chose this profession so that I can take a small step in introducing the natural attractions of my country. I enjoy enjoyment of my friends on the trip and this is my most important goal.”

“My story in tourism began when my sister worked at a hotel reception. Since I spoke English, I began taking tourists around the sites in my hometown Shiraz. A few months in, I became passionate about the job and took courses in tourism. Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with showing visitors the beauty, culture, and reality of Iran, as well as its religious aspect. I’m flexible and responsible, always adapting the experience to suit each person’s style.”

“My heart was so wild for Shahdad (part of the UNESCO-listed Lut Desert) that I renamed myself after it. This passion motivated me to start discovering the golden realm of Shahdad since 2013. Now, I’ve made documentaries, founded a Lut Desert Visit Center, and explored over 3500 km of the amazing Lut on foot, by bike, and on camel. I’m in love with helping my companions find the peace and wonder hidden in the sand.”

“I’m a travel-loving, adventure-seeking girl who spent 11 years soaring the skies as a flight attendant before finding my true calling as a tour guide. With an academic IELTS from Cambridge, I’ve led cultural and nature tours, starting with inbound trips from China and Thailand, then outbound journeys to Africa and India. I’ve proudly managed a 450-passenger tour to Goa, and I also work as an interpreter and protocol officer for the embassy. Travel is my heartbeat—a magical way to connect people, stories, and the soul of the world.”
Tange Chogan Ecolodge
“In 1985, I married my husband, and together, we embarked on a journey of discovery across Iran, taking trips four times a year. Over 30 years of exploring—from luxurious stays to simple local accommodations—we observed the gaps in Iran’s tourism industry, especially in lodging. My passion for Iranian handicrafts and ethnic clothing also led me to establish a community celebrating handicrafts, food, and clothing of Iran’s various ethnicities. Years later, inspired by my husband’s Tange Chogan roots and our shared love for the region, we opened an ecolodge, reviving the once-deserted village and fostering tourism that benefits locals and draws youth back home.”

“Iran is my homeland, and I am well-versed in the mentality and thoughts of the Iranian people. Whether it’s about travel or a business meeting, with me, you will gain a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge about Iran. I have 18 years of professional experience, and I’d like to offer the highest level of service and fascinating stories about Iran’s landmarks. Making you feel safe and comfortable are my priorities.”
(Zoroastrian Family in Yazd)
“I’m Rozita, and together with my husband Mehraban, we’ve opened the doors of our ancestral home in the heart of Yazd’s Zoroastrian quarter—just steps away from the sacred Bahram Fire Temple. Here, we share the story of a remarkable man: my grandfather, Mehrban, a descendant of Zoroastrian priests, who dedicated his life to serving his community. His passion for faith and service didn’t end with him—it became a legacy flowing through the veins of his children and grandchildren. That legacy lives on in me, as I now share his story through this house-museum, where we talk about his life, our faith, everyday Zoroastrian traditions, and treasured Avesta texts. If you visit, we’ll welcome you with stories, rituals, and homemade traditional treats.”

“My passion for Iranian history and culture has driven me to extensively study architecture, archaeology, history, art, and literature. Eager to share this knowledge with international travelers visiting Iran, I became a guide in 2014. Beyond historical sites, I enjoy having conversations about a wide range of topics, including Iranian society, economy, culture, sports, geography, religion, and traditions. During our tours of beautiful Iran, I introduce you to delicious local cuisine, Iranian pastimes, and traditional handicrafts, as well as their production processes.”

“Ever since high school, I felt a deep passion for showing the world the real Iran, its rich culture, history, and warm-hearted people. I knew I was made for something lively and people-centered. Traveling, meeting people, and staying active through sports keep my spirit alive. Though I started with a physics major, I soon followed my heart, switched to English translation, and trained as a tour guide. Today, a Zoroastrian myself, I specialize in operating specialized Zoroastrian tours, sharing stories and rituals of my own heritage. ”
